Updates to licensing:
From version 5.7 and onwards, the licensing system has been updated to better serve the needs of our customers. This update however is not backwards compatible with older versions of the <Virtual Environment> released prior to 5.7.

Upgrading your old installation for compatibility:
To upgrade an older version of the <Virtual Environment> for use with the new licensing system we have created a small application.
To use this tool to upgrade an old version you must first have setup & licensed the <Virtual Environment> version 5.7 or later.
Once your license is in place, run the tool. If it does not automatically detect your old version of the <Virtual Environment>, use the browse button to locate it. Click the install button to begin the process & follow the prompts.
Please click on the link to download the Keys System Upgrade Application.
You will be prompted to remove your old (pre-5.7) keys. If you’ve already done this, on a network for example, then you can just cancel the old keys removal, but continue with the keys system upgrade. You should then be able to share the new keys between multiple versions of the software on a network.
Note: If you are using Windows Vista you must select ‘Run as Administrator’ when launching the IESKeysTool.exe application.
Also versions of the <Virtual Environment> prior to 5.7 are not supported on Windows Vista. For full Windows Vista support we recommend version 5.8 and later.
